Discover the
Mont Saint Michel, the jewels of Normandy classified by the UNESCO World Wild Heritage.
• In the year of 709 AD and by the request of the Archangel Michel, the bishop Auber (from Avranches) built a small church and settled a communnity of Benedictines on the rock. By the request of the Duke of Normandy and the pre-Romanesque, the church was built before the year one thousand.
• Monks and Nuns from "Les Fraternités Monastiques de Jérusalem" have been ensuring a spiritual presence since the year 2001.
• Discover the Abbey, the jails and the tight streets. Have enought time to have your lunch inside the fortificated village, and also, enjoy the gift shops.

Good to know
• No dress code is requested, but Miont Saint Michel rock could be windy. By the winter, be sure that could be protected enought from the rain. It is also easier to wear walking shoes.
Hotel pickups commence prior to this time, you must contact the local service provider to verify your exact pickup time.
What to expect
Pick up and drop off could be anywhere in Bayeux (at the hotel or BnB your are staying), or in place de Quebec (the main departure for the excursions).

The tour start from between 8am and 8:15am to end around 4:30pm.
Normandy Excursions and your guide will tour you by the scenic roads of Normandy before arrive in Mont Saint Michel. You will be abble to see the beautiful countryside and the bay of the Mont Saint Michel.
Please let us know if you do have a train to pick up after the tour, we can hold your bags in the vehicule to drive you back to the train station right after the tour.
